Assets

Sabine’s pipeline system consists of 131 miles of bi-directional pipeline. Sabine offers both interruptible and firm transportation services to its customers.

Sabine Pipe Line LLC owns and operates the Henry Hub. The Henry Hub interconnects with nine interstate and three intrastate pipelines including the following: Acadian, Columbia Gulf, Gulf South Pipeline, Bridgeline, NGPL, Sea Robin, Southern, Texas Gas, Trunkline, Jefferson Island, and Sabine’s mainline. Sabine’s compressor stations at the Henry Hub provide the additional operational flexibility necessary to make deliveries to high-pressure pipelines. These pipelines provide access to markets in the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and Gulf Coast regions of the United States. Operational Balancing Agreements exist at all points at the Henry Hub and are beneficial to shippers because they provide greater confidence that every dekatherm that is scheduled will be delivered.

Henry Hub is the official delivery mechanism and pricing point for CME’s New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) natural gas futures contract as well as the OTC swaps traded on Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). This provides our customers price liquidity that is unparalleled in the industry. Sabine Hub Services has expanded on this advantage to become the industry leader in hub management in North America by developing a series of value added services that help our customers meet their gas marketing needs.
